How do you decide on which products to have on the site?
The core idea behind IKONKIDS is to offer practical quality products for children, preferably ones that are not yet available in Denmark. When we are convinced that a certain product falls within our values (see below) and core idea, IKONKIDS tries to import it and make it available for the Danish consumer. Of course we look at the financial viability but because we believe in the long term usage and the quality of the products, we are willing to sometimes take a risk.
Where do you get the idea for the products?
We scout for products via our private international network AND we rely on suggestion from you, our customers. A lot of people are very enthusiastic about our site and come up with ideas and products that we are happy to check out!
What are the values and why are they shown on the website?
Based on a strong belief that good customer service goes a long way, we have made a list of values that we want to share with our customers. It shows commitment from the team of IKONKIDS and adds a little personal touch to bridge the distance that can arise when shopping online. We would like you to feel part of what we are trying to do and that can only be based on open communication. Our site is unique and tries to look at life from a different angle than the traditional webshop.

Why no free postage?
We know you all like free postage. However the cost of that needs to be spread out over the products and would inevitably lead to increased prices across the rage of items. We have decided that it is fairer to keep the prices lower and every customer pays for the postage he/she is using. We hope you can follow us in this.
Are there IKONKIDS gift certificates?
Not yet, it is something we are considering when we update the website next. If you want to make a friend happy with one of our products, please write to us and we will make a gift voucher specially.
I want to return my purchases?
The whole topic of returns, delivery and claims is covered under the chapters “delivery” and “returns” under “GOOD TO KNOW”.

I am a swim teacher, can I trust the SwimFin product on this more general site?
Yes! There is a dual face to the site where we are both catering for the Danish swimming teachers, pools, schools, organizations and individual families that could benefit from SwimFin AND offering other special products which are not necessary related to a specific sport or profession. What are our favourites?
Definitely SwimFin is one of them and you can count the children of our team in as well as big fans! The bunting flags also are very special and a real atmosphere creator. Personally I would like to have had a BoobyTag during the long months of breastfeeding and being so exhausted that a little help would have been welcome. I have kept my list of “date-time-left-right” as a souvenir!
